Lantek already has some high profile customers in the north of England for its Lantek Expert, Lantek Flex3d and Lantek Integra sheet metal CADCAM software.
Users include Miller UK based in Cramlington, Northumberland which is a major manufacturer of quick couplers, buckets and other attachments for world leading OEMs in the yellow goods market, such as Volvo, CNH and Komatsu; Pearson Engineering which produces counter-Mine, counter-IED, combat earth moving and assault bridging equipment for armoured fighting vehicles; Eterniti Steels in Pontefract, now part of the multinational Edgen Group and Almet Sheet Metal Fabrication which makes parts for elevators and bespoke architectural and interior design applications.
These customers use plasma and laser cutting machinery and have chosen Lantek for its technical capabilities and high quality service, which helps them to operate more efficiently and profitably.
For the UK market, Lantek has achieved growth levels of around 20% in 2014 and it will be redoubling its efforts and adding more resources to address the market in the north of England and Scotland to bring about similar growth levels in these regions of the country.
